Once a design is submitted, within seconds, by clicking the ShareThis button, html code with your design embedded will automatically be posted to a social site of your choice (reddit, digg, facebook, myspace, del.icio.us, stumbleupon, technorati, newsvine, etc.) in a message, a bulletin, a blog post, or your “about me” section. This is far and away the easiest method for you to start making some money!

Once your design is submitted, it will generate a unique URL. Simply copy the URL in the browser window and email it to all of your friends and family, this will direct them straight to YOUR design where they can show their support and vote for your garment.

You’ve all got an account on a site that enables blogging and/or bulletin posting, be it myspace, facebook, wordpress, blogger, etc. Take the unique URL or HTML and write a blog post about your design submission. Your readers and your friends trust you, so if you ask, they will vote.

These sites let you submit links that you think other people will enjoy, and if people enjoy it when they see it, they vote the link up so that more people will see it when they visit the site. These are great sources for aggregating traffic for your designs.

These include Flickr.com, Photobucket.com, Imageshack.com, or VillagePhotos.com. Upload your submission to these hosting sites so when your friends go to your page to see the photos from your last trip, they will also come across your bona fide design portfolio.
6. Connect with the Community
Possibly the most effective way to get people to vote on your designs is to vote and comment on theirs. Get connected with other exuve artists, grab our RSS feed to stay on top of new submissions, contest news, and other people’s comments on your own designs, follow us on Twitter, be our friend on Myspace and Facebook, read our blog, and just GET INVOLVED!
